“ If you happen to get Karen as you're server, you are going to have a blast! Her service is upbeat friendly and very knowledgeable with menu & drinks. We had a great time... Prime rib-my favorite ”
“ Great price for salad, bread and butter, and my steak! The steak came with a side and I asked for veggies. The dessert pumpkin pie was good too! My steak was good, it was a little to burned in some areas so that's the only reason why I didn't give it a five star for food. The service was amazing! ”
“ While I do agree with other reviewers here on Google that it does not have the atmosphere of the original Cattlemens in Petaluma, I still had a wonderful dinner here regardless. Started out with a bloody Mary and a shrimp cocktail. Both were fabulous. But before any of that was even considered I had like half a loaf of sourdough bread and butter in front of me in less than two minutes. Got the 2 pound porterhouse with mashed potatoes and a salad all top-notch food. Steak was a perfect medium rare potatoes were creamy and delicious and the salad was...well a dinner salad. Still good though, just nothing fancy. All in all great place for dinner. ”
“ We went for Valentine's Day. Even though it was packed the service was great! Drinks were always topped up and servers were very nice. We had Madison as our server and she was great! We sat outside, which was warm with their heaters and fire place. Food was great. I ordered the Pete's special cooked rare and it was cooked beautifully. Vegetables seasoned nicely. ”
“ We were greeted with huge smiles from the hostess upon arrival. Our waitress Dalia was fantastic she was very attentive checking in on drinks, bread, and without asking! When our food came she checked in again for any condiments we may have wanted. Our food, BBQ ribs and ribeye steak were cooked perfect! There was a lot of teamwork within everyone helping one another!! Thank you, Dalia for making it a pleasurable visit!! ”
“ We ordered the dinner for two, which came with an appetizer, two entrees, and a dessert—and everything was fantastic. We started with the artichoke dip, which was full of flavor and had plenty of actual artichoke pieces. The steak was cooked perfectly, and all the sides were fresh and delicious—bread, salad, beans, baked potato, and mashed potatoes were all top-notch. For dessert, we chose the fried apple pie with a scoop of ice cream, and it was a perfect finish. The food was great, but the atmosphere and service really made the experience stand out. The staff was friendly and seemed to genuinely enjoy working there. If I had one minor critique, it’s that everything came out at once, so the table felt a little crowded and we felt slightly rushed. It would’ve been nicer if the courses were spaced out more. Still, this was one of the best meals I’ve had out in a long time. I’m glad we tried it—it definitely didn’t disappoint! ”
“ we had a private event there for 50 people. the booking process was smooth and professional - they were very accommodating as we worked through our people count and the event date. we had the event during the day when the restaurant was closed. the manager met us as we showed up early to set up and he and his staff were very helpful and accommodating. they were well staffed and everything went to plan without a hitch. we did some small apps and a buffet of steak and chicken. the food was great and the service exceptional. the cost was very reasonable; less than half what we’ve paid at other ‘more upscale’ places, but we received the same quality and guest experience (if not better) than much more expensive venues. i would highly recommend cattleman’s for anyone looking to book an event. our event was inside but the covered patio looks like a great option for our holiday party this year. ”
“ I had been to the old Cattlemens years ago. This new Cattlemens is so nice and new. The food is to die for. So yummy. It's so flavorful. We recommend the rib eye and a hen house tap beer. ”
